One set for the tube, one for the embarkation point. Without them, the tube isn't closed. Same shit for the eagle. If the CM detaches the rest of the eagle is exposed to vacuum in series 2. Mark

I have to check this out again, but I may have jumped the gun here and blamed Year 2 when it was Year One that lacked the inner doors for the Travel Tubes. Compare the Travel Tube to an elevator and you see that there is a set of doors on the outside and a separate set of doors on the inside. Since I was watching the Columbia House tapes with their back-to-back different season episodes, I may have remembered incorrectly that Year One had the inner safety doors and Year Two did not. It may be that Year Two had the inner safety doors and Year One did not...or at least, they did not show them closing with the outer doors like they did in Year Two. Whew! OK, here's a REAL stupid thing from Year Two that Year One did NOT have at all...where did Helena get the little medical device that miraculously examines patients ala Star Trek??? Find it floating in space from a blown up Federation starship??? I think not! That was a stupid idea in Year Two (since it was not around in Year One)...and it was probably a Freddie idea... Anthony

You know, the one that dispenses medicine via a dot of light and with no observable moving parts save a switch. It seems even more advanced than Dr. McCoy's "air hiss" hypo! :-)
