It's about mining an asteroid comprised of precious minerals, and the disappearance of the brother of Catherine's character (the brother having had a claim to the asteroid). Some of the action is based in /Moon Zero Two/, a ship that looks a lot like those that actually went to the Moon. The rest is based on a moonbase. (Seems Catherine loves lunar life :-) It's like "Western" in space. Besides the movie, there was a novel(ization). Brian Dowling has some pictures (video captures) of Catherine in that movie, at http://fly.to/moonbase_alpha Some more exist at a site known as "Hammer Glamour" (MZ2 was a Hammer movie). http://www.hammer.gotoinfo.ch/ Also, there are some other S19 guest stars at the Hammer site. Happy 1999!

I watched a bit of it and it seemed like an Anderson production, so I was surprised when I found out it wasn't. The space walk sequence in the movie looked like typical "consumer grade" late 60s special effects as opposed to the kind of thing we saw in 2001. tim gueguen 101867

I also have a copy of the MST3K version which is a little scratchy and wavey. The movie was much better in my memory than when I actually sat down to watch it again. I guess you have to be about 8 or 9 years old to appreciate the action and the plot. I did enjoy Catherine Schnells seen in the moonbuggy though.

It was there when I first posted the link several months ago, and the address, with some Hammer-related material (and an explanation for the rest being taken down), is still there; but "Hammer Glamour" no longer exists. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Good result, now! There is a photo of Catherine taken by the first serie episode The Guardian of Piri. I also read that British magazine Cult Times would publish, in the next months, an interview to Catherine. Best wishes another time! Elena :-)
